The school promotes the concept of teaching subjects and the national curricular contents through the media of Spanish and English languages to be a truly International Bilingual School delivering high quality education with the highest moral standards taught by Spanish and fluent English speaking professionals.
IGCSE = International General Certificate of Secondary Education
They are designed for children from 14 to 16 years old
Children who attain the level required and receive certification (from A* to G) are said to have the necessary knowledge and comprehension to enter university or for employment as recognised by all the world.
Where are they taken and why are they taken?
They are taken in over 100 countries in the world today, and in only 160 schools in Argentina administered by ESSARP. Students who achieve the certification can enter universities all over the world.
In Argentina the certification is recognised by all the major universities as the entrance requirements.
Grade C in IGCSE English (both First Launguage and Second Language) satisfies the English proficiency requirements of many universities in the UK and other anglophone countries.
The IGCSE English E2L is also accepted in other universities around the world. The list below includes only the UK universities that we have written statements from regarding their recognition of the qualification. However, the IGCSE E2L is recognised in many other institutions as proof of a student’s English competency.
The following universities have expressed their willingness to accept the above qualification at grades C or above as suitable proof of competency in English for the purposes of undergraduate study. (*Grade B or above only, ** Grade A or A* only)

From year 1 in primary (EP-1) our children are encouraged to communicate in the spoken form naturally.
We take this a step further in giving the children an objective in Primary. - We enhance their confidence in achieving an objective – The Trinity Level Oral Exam.
This not only builds confidence in using the target language but also gives the children the satisfaction of “Yes I have done it”
This helps to satisfy some of the requirements, for the successful acquisition of English as a second / foreign language.
From year 6 onwards students participate in optional Cambridge Exams alongside the optional Trinity Exams.
Cambridge Exams focus on the four skills communication, whereas Trinity Exams focus on verbal communication (and obviously decoding messages through listening skills.)
International General Certificate of Secondary Education courses start in ES-3 in selected subjects. These courses are two or 3 year courses in length depending on the subject, and are taken in ES-4, ES-5 and ES-6
Advanced level course start in ES5 for capable students who have the possibility to sit for AS and or A level in their final years at school.
